Easy Makup Essentials

Here are some easy makeup essentials that I wear when I just want a simple fresh makeup look

Lancome Teint Miracle Foundation in the shade suede 4 c it's a natural skin like foundation that's super blendable and makes the skin look very youthful and supple. I usually will prime with my Smashbox Photo finish primer not shown in photo. It blurs the skin and makes your pores appear smaller with its silicon technology. I've been loving the oval 8 brush from Artis brushes it makes my foundation application quick and easy gives a flawless finish. I won't set with powder because I want the foundation to keep,the skin like appearance. I'll add conceler lately I've been liking the Teint Idole Concealer which I will discuss in a separate blog post. I'll add a pop of blush one of my favorite fresh face blushes is Coralina from Milani it's a baked blush it has enough shimmer in it that I don't need a highlighter. I'll add a little bit of highlighter Glow with it from MAC and a nude lipstick Smashbox Always On Liquid Lipstick in In Demand

MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipsticks

Lip colors I've from MAC their Retro Matte liquid lipsticks.

They've been out for a while I'm just now getting around to post them and wear.

I'll be posting about other liquid lipsticks as well.

The formula is lovely drys down matte,but doesn't feel uncomfortable

Slay 30

Hey dolls it's been a minute since I've posted here to my blog I've been so busy with work, life and other things.  I recently turned 30 years old April 3rd I did a few makeup looks and also took some professional photos with the amazing @theurbanjungle. Nude Lipstick Tips and Tricks for Dark Skin

The importance of lip liner when you're on the darker deeper end of the spectrum when it comes to wearing nude lipsticks. Without some sort of light brown or dark brown lip liner when wearing nude lipsticks it can completely wash you out leaving your lips looking flat.

Happy Spring

Happy first day of Spring today I kept it fresh and simple

My makeup I used the Black Radiance BB Cream as my base really love it and I definitely recommend it for the warmer months if the year light weight doesn't feel like makeup.  Bronzed the skin with CoverGirl Queen ebony bronze bronzer blush Toasted Almond Black Radiance and highlighter Semi preciou Goldstone MAC. Lip color Maybelline Touchable Taupe.

Hold Up They Don't Love You Like I Love You

When I was in Los Angeles all few weeks ago I filmed a YouTube video with @theurbanjungle. The video was a get ready with me makeup look inspired by Beyonce and her music video "Hold Up" from her latest "Lemonade " the visual album. She wore a beautiful mustard yellow Roberta Cavali and her makeup was stunning brown and black eye shade blended smoothly and lots of eyeliner.  I came closest to the look as possible. Marc Jacob's Beauty

Got these lovely luxury items from Marc Jacob's Beauty and I've been trying them out and I love these products so far. The Marc Jacob's genius gel foundation in Cocoa Deep is such a beautiful shade and the product blends into my skin like a dream. The face three brush is the buffer brush that buffs the foundation into the skin leaving no streaks and a airbrush finish. The Velvet Noir mascara is very dark leaving the lashes clump free with lots of volume Marc was inspired by his mother who use to cut pieces of velvet and place them on her lashes. Le  Marc lipstick "No Angel" is a shade I got a beautiful creamy nude lipstick soft to touch long wearing.
